Customizing Search Results

Before executing a search, you can customize the results that you will retrieve to suit your requirements. To do this, go to the following part of the Search page:

In this part of the page, you can:

• specify how many of the matches retrieved are to be displayed at a time. Note that the fewer the number of matches you specify, the faster they will be retrieved. The maximum number of matches that can be retrieved at a time is 99: the number of matches retrieved by default is 50.

• specify whether the documents retrieved will be displayed in the form of subsets (sections of consecutive documents) or in the form of a sample (documents selected at regular intervals from those retrieved).

• specify the hit number at which you would like the first subset to start.
